Welcome to our revamped website to reflect our new direction; Along with our Model Making and Prototype work we will also be producing props for TV, Film and the Theatre. The site is still under construction so please forgive the lack of content; it is on the way.

I have been making models for all my life, I started in the same way as most boys with Airfix kits, followed by military figures and vehicles before moving onto railway modelling, I have worked in both 4mm and 7mm (OO gauge and O gauge) in both steam and diesel periods. I have built several exhibition layouts most recently the Red Rocks Railroad which has been shown both in the UK and Europe and appeared in magazines worldwide.

The layouts I have built and displayed include;
  Red Rocks Railroad – an American On30 logging layout set in pre-war California.
  Fairwell – a OO gauge Great Western layout set in post war Gloucestershire.
  Probably Wood – a OO gauge Modern Image layout.
  Stanley Road – an O gauge ironstone quarry layout based in Northamptonshire.

As well as building layouts I have been scratch building locomotives and rolling stock for many years, I have also produced numerous masters for silicone moulding and resin casting. I prefer to model mainly in plastic but also use brass and white metal.

I also enjoy building architectural models of buildings both modern and old. Depending on the level of detail required I have constructed some from individual bricks or stones as I feel this produces the most realistic small scale buildings.
